The Authentic Synthetic Self

Here’s to our social conditioning to ‘show up’ with a made-up role we get play in public and private lives.

A show, for the acceptance of strangers (in most cases) and an invitation to rate an impersonal performance.

The media and creative industries understands that this is the ‘reality’ we want to own and to that end we now sit in the seat of ‘producer’ - A place we can without much regulation, construct identities and stories to feel more relatable so that we can relate more to ourselves.

Relatability builds reputation, and with reputation comes a responsibility to build brands that consciously connect.
