Discernment

One of my most treasured nuggets of inspiration is a short n sweet film I often share in class - called; The Gap, by Ira Glass. Introduced to me by my friend and life-long supporter of the work I put out there - Bob Sheth - thanks Bob.

It acknowledges beginner spirit. A reminder that creativity is a personal pursuit and that when true calling calls you to artist a *new-to-the-world idea, it requires quiet process and commitment to the cause. Developmental and experimental stages of figuring and feeling out what suits, needs to leave, or shelve.

Trusting and cultivating taste takes courage, self-awareness and the critique of those with perspectives you value. So go with it with eyes heart and mind wide open. Allow the creative energy buried in you to emerge, explode and release what wants to be seen, because true work is worth viewing.
